Hey Y'all!

My name is Cindy and I hail from the land of bayous, cypress trees, Spanish moss, alligators, and crawfish. Where the food has a flavor like no other and the culture changes as you move through the state. We say ma’am and sir, y’all and words that are hard to pronounce and even harder to spell…if you aren’t from Louisiana. I live in a magical state, where the politics are like no other, and the people are beyond comparison. I am a child of God, a Christian and I hope you see that as you travel across this website.

In 1987, I married my better half, Michael. He is my best friend, my “where do you want to go today buddy”, my partner in everything. Two years later a beautiful redhead joined our family, and nothing has been the same since. Sarah is my partner in crime and business. She is so close to being my carbon copy, even in our differences, you will see similarities.  And we have our sweet fur baby, Dino. He is a mixed breed, rescue pup. He is a sweetheart, who loves to give hugs.

I have spent the past 30 years mentoring teens and adults. My style has been coined as “Politely Blunt”, telling you like it is, with the politeness of a true southern woman.

After being a stay at home mom and homeschooling Sarah, I went back into the workforce in 2007 for a major telecom. Within six months I received a promotion into a leadership role. Then around 2009, I discovered personal development and my life has not been the same since. About that same time, another job within the same company fell into my lap in the HR Training and Leadership department. My years there and working for and with some of the top executives in this company allowed me to learn leadership firsthand. Managing projects and people within those projects taught me skills that a four-year degree never could have.

After ten years with this company I came home to work for myself. Eight months back home taught me so much. I learned that starting a business is so much more than saying “I want to start a business”, or “If they can do it, so can I.” Not applying myself as I should have led me back into the workforce for two more years.

In 2021, I had a life long dream come true as I found myself not only becoming a published author, but a best selling author two times! This has led me to contributing in a second book and writing my own book on leadership. I combine my writing skills with public speaking, mentoring and course writing to round out my business!

I am excited to see what will unfold in the years to come. Turning sixty-three in 2021 finds me with no plans to retire. I feel I have so much left to give and so many people left to help!

Much Love,
